THE MISSION: Love God + Love People + Change the World!
The central focus of our fellowship is our shared, common mission to help people become followers of Jesus Christ. Christ-followers are people who are growing in 3 vital relationships in their lives. Christ-followers are growing in their: Love for God, Love for People and their Connection with God’s mission in the world.
Who We Are
We affirm both the inerrancy and the sufficiency of God’s Word. The Bible is the only authority in teaching us what it means to be a community of Christ-followers. Cornerstone rejects Christian legalism and liberalism; the two great errors in handling God’s Word. We will remain uncompromisingly faithful to the Word of God and the Gospel of Jesus and simultaneously use ministries and methods that are relevant to the people we are seeking to minister to.
Values
“Core values” are the few powerful, guiding principles; the DNA of an organization. Core values guide all actions and attitudes and help shape the culture within the church. Culture takes a long time to create, and even longer to change. But the first step toward creating a healthy culture is to identify the desired values that
shape how we fulfill the mission Christ has given us.
